Switcharoonie
Here we have a classic case of Trading Places. Little MImi took Bella’s place on the back of the couch (the first time ever!) and is keeping an eye on neighborhood firecracker hooligan types. Bella, on the other hand, has opted to smash Hannah in an effort to be a lap dog.

Chasing Lightning
Isabella Blue.
What I am I going to do with you?
Two of my precious eight hours of solitude were spent chasing down Elizabeth’s dog and that’s okay with me. Make no mistake, I would have preferred the extra two hours of relaxation, but what’s the point in life if you don’t have people and critters to love, to give up your time and space for, to chase down and bring back home?
This picture was taken ten minutes after she came back inside. Two hours of running like lightning will wear a dog out.

Another Thank You to Another Son
Big thanks go out to John Mark for fixing Bubby’s door this afternoon! (And for mowing the yard and throwing old furniture type stuff into the landlord’s dumpster next door…shh.) Now we will be able to take Isabella on 2 visits to the dog park today! (That’s her in the foreground with the blue collar.) Why do I love that dog so much when she has been such a challenge? Could it be those blue eyes that beg for love or that long, wet nose that is always in the way? Could be. But I’m guessing that it’s the unconditional love that she shows us all. ![]()

Emotionally Drained
I am emotionally wiped out.
This afternoon Isabella ran away again. This makes two days in a row, in fact. Only this time she was missing for about a half an hour. I was frantic. She’s like lightning. She runs and runs and runs. We live near a highway. Need I say more?
I was still jittery when James stopped by and told me that he plans on buying a motorcycle tomorrow. I bawled.
I’m a basket case tonight.
Time for some heavy duty prayer.
Runaway Aussie
Isabella ran away again today. This time she was gone for about 30 minutes. Usually it’s ten. I was terrified and furious. Elizabeth was terrified and sobbing.
